The company provides a range of operational services to its existing three healthy living centres not only to ensure the users have the best possible experience when visiting or working at the centres but also to keep the assets in good condition and continue to provide best fit for purpose.

The Facilities Management of Medway Community Estates buildings, therefore, combines these key drivers to include:

• Liaison with tenants, provision and management of help desk and reviews.
• Monitor supply chain performance using KPI’s.
• Report and act on performance measures.
• Management of small works.
• Security and safety.
• Management and effective use of life cycle funds.
• Head lease and under lease management including third part users.
• Insurances and other related Landlord functions.

Further, the company can provides a range of professional services for its partners ranging from advice on property acquisition and disposals, design and development services to cost in use and third party tenant services.

These partnering services are provided on a flexible call off basis and are available to all Participants who are party to the Strategic Partnering Agreement.

Medway Community Estates is currently looking to extend the scope of its Partnering Services and Facilities Management Services, to embrace the needs of its partners in their quest for greater efficiency in the operation of their estates. Discussions are taking place for Medway Community Estates to provide a more comprehensive whole system estate service and proposals include:

• Investment and disinvestment strategies.
• Implementation of an asset Management Strategy.
• Management of all non Medway Community Estates facilities including Landlord responsibilities.
• Cost in use and whole life costing including energy efficiency.
• Ongoing property maintenance and other support service provision.
