MCE can provide a property service which assists public bodies and health care providers to achieve value for money in the utilisation of property thus ensuring that scarce finance is directed to front line services.

A fixed fee service agreement can be offered which will encompass any part or all of the following:

• Appraise the current utilisation of existing buildings and advise on efficiency of use and measures which can be taken to improve.
• Administer and advise on occupancy leases, sub tenants and voids
• Prepare cost in use profiles and advise on whole life cost in use optimisation.
• Energy savings and Carbon reduction measures
• Statutory Compliance

Facilities Management

MCE can offer a facilities management service which will procure and administer performance related property maintenance and support service contracts to provide continuous improvement and ensure compliance with all statutory and relevant NHS standards.  This service could be extended to include soft FM and centre management.

Normally operating within a 5 to 7 year Service Level Agreement, annual service charges can be linked to RPI within open book cost savings shared following procurement of Property Maintenance contracts and other support service providers.
